§ 16-27. Required.

Latest version.

No person shall ride or propel a bicycle upon a street or public way in the city, or upon any part thereof, unless such bicycle has been registered and provided with the proper license tag as provided herein. It shall be mandatory that every person who owns a bicycle register it with the city and obtain a license tag and affix it thereon. The failure to have a bicycle registered and to display the proper license tag shall be a violation of this section.
