§ 17-66. Established.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of seventeen (17) years to loiter, wander, stroll or play in or upon any street, alley, sidewalk, parkway, park, playground or other public place in the municipality, or in or on any public building, place of amusement or entertainment or any vacant lot, at any time between the hours of 11:00 p.m., and 6:00 a.m., on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday nights or at any time between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. on Saturday nights; provided that, nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent any child from being in or on any such place in the company of his or her parent, guardian or other adult having lawful custody of such child; nor shall this section prevent any child from being in or on such place in the performance of a lawful errand or business with the consent of the parent or guardian of each child.

    It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of eighteen (18) years to loiter, wander, stroll or play in or about Bliss Park within the city at any time between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on any day; provided, that nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent any child from being in or on any such place in the company of his or her parent, guardian or other adult having lawful custody of such child.
