§ 1-12. Distribution of Code.

Latest version.

All of the printed copies of the Code belonging to the city shall be deposited with the city clerk. The clerk shall deliver one copy thereof to the city attorney, to each member of the council, and to such other persons as the council may direct; provided, however, that, the copies delivered to any city officer or employee, other than the mayor or commissioners, shall remain the property of the city and shall be returned to the clerk at the end of the officer's term or termination of employment. The mayor shall have the power to extend or reciprocate courtesies of other municipalities by presenting to them a copy of this Code in bound volume or in looseleaf binder, at the expense of the city, as to him may seem suitable. Additional copies may be sold at such price as the council shall direct.
