§ 22-104. Display of numbers.

  • It shall be the duty of the owner and occupant of each building, whether new or existing, in the city to have placed thereon, building numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the right of way to which the building is addressed. All numbers shall be in Arabic numerals and measuring not less than four (4) inches high with a minimum stroke width of one-half (½) inch that arc visible from the street. These numerals shall be in a conspicuous place and shall be reflective and of a contrasting color which can be clearly seen against the background on which they are mounted.
