§ 24-36. Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

Water distribution system: Water mains designed to serve fire hydrant requirements and located to provide present or future service to more than one water user (specifically not including water service lines) and constructed on city property or city easements.

Water service line: A water line designed to provide water for one (1) lot only and located where there would be no anticipated need for the future expansion of the water distribution system.
