§ 2-228. Funding.

The city council of the city shall annually determine an allocation from the hotel/motel tax received by the city to be provided to the convention and visitors bureau solely for the promotion of tourism and overnight stays in the city. Such funds received from the state and other funding agencies for the promotion of tourism, shall be administered by the executive director in accordance with state law and the conditions imposed by the agency providing grant funds.
