§ 2-424.5. Police administrative day.

The Deputy Chief of Police and Police Lieutenant shall receive one eight-hour day off with pay per calendar month, schedule and workload permitting. The Police Administrative Day must be approved by the Chief of Police prior to use. If the employee does not utilize the Police Administrative Day within the calendar month, the Police Administrative Day will be forfeit for that month. Under no circumstances shall the employee be allowed to carryover an unused Police Administrative Day from one month to the next or be able to use a Police Administrative Day from a future month.
