§ 2-244. Recommendation regarding powers and duties of all officers and employees.

The city administrator may make recommendations to the city council regarding the powers and duties of all officers and employees, reassignment of employees to different departments or reassignment of employees to do work in two (2) or more departments. The city council, by ordinance, shall have the power to prescribe the powers and duties of all officers and employees, reassign them to different departments and to assign or reassign them to do work in two (2) or more departments.
