§ 4-61. Penalty.

(a)

Whoever violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-14 of the Municipal Code of the City of Effingham, Illinois.

(b)

Every act or omission of whatsoever nature constituting a violation of any provision of this article, by any officer, director, manager or other agent or employee of any licensee or permittee, shall be deemed and held to be the act of such employer, licensee or permittee, and the employer, licensee or permittee shall be punishable in the same manner as if the act or omission had been done or omitted by him personally.

(c)

For violations of this article, the penalty provided in paragraph (a) of this section is in addition to, not in lieu of, any administrative action taken by the local liquor control commissioner as contained within section 4-23 of article III of this chapter.
