§ 7-64. Electrical commission—Created; composition; appointment; compensation; term.

  • There is hereby created an electrical commission who shall consist of six (6) members, as follows: The chief electrical inspector of the city, who shall be the chairman; one electrical contractor; one experienced electrician (minimum of five (5) years experience); one registered professional engineer, the chief of the fire department, and one representative of an electrical supply company. Such members shall be appointed by the mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council; and shall serve without compensation therefor, and shall hold office until their successor or successors are appointed.
