§ 9-1. Establishment.

(a)

There is hereby created the City of Effingham Emergency Management Agency to prevent, minimize, repair and alleviate injury or damage resulting from disaster caused by enemy attack, sabotage, or other hostile action, or from natural or manmade disaster, in accordance with "The Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act (20 ILCS 3305 et seq.). The term EMA is herein defined to mean emergency management agency where the same appears.

(b)

The agency created by this section shall consist of the coordinator and such additional members as may be selected by the coordinator.
