§ 19-38. Terms; vacancies; compensation.

Ex officio members of the city plan commission shall serve for the term of their elective office. The nine (9) appointed citizen members shall be appointed and serve for a term of three (3) years. Vacancies shall be filled in the same method of appointment, for unexpired terms only. All members of the commission shall serve without compensation, except that, if the city council so provides, the secretary may receive such compensation as is fixed by the city council, and paid for by proper appropriation.
