§ 21-25. Administrative support and telecommunicator; duties.

  • There is hereby created the office of technical services assistant and telecommunicator.

    (1)

    The technical services assistant shall be subordinate to all supervisory personnel, and shall perform duties such as secretary, records management, and such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the chief of police or other officer.

    (2)

    The telecommunicator shall be subordinate to all supervisory personnel, and shall perform the duties such as radio dispatcher, telephone operator, and such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the chief of police or other officer, manager appointed by him. The telecommunicator shall have no police powers.
