§ 21-138. Discipline.

Part-time officers shall be under the disciplinary jurisdiction of the chief of police. Part-time police officers serve at the discretion of the city authorities, shall not have any property rights in said employment, and may be removed by the city authorities at any time. Part-time police officers shall comply with all applicable rules and policies issued by the police department.

Ord. No. 37-2017 , § VII, adopted July 5, 2017, repealed the former § 21-138 and enacted a new section as set out herein. The former § 21-138 pertained to similar subject matter and derived from Ord. No. 12-2012, § 1, adopted March 20, 2012.
