§ 24-78. Water rate charges.

(a)

Minimum connection fee. Effective date of minimum connection fees shall be the first billing date of each fiscal year as outlined below:

(b)

Metered water service. Rates per one thousand (1,000) gallons shall be charged in each fiscal year as set forth below. Minimum use customers with a 5/8 -inch meter who use no more than two thousand two hundred forty-four (2,244) gallons per month shall be charged the minimum as set forth below during each fiscal year.

(d)

Wholesale water customers. The rates to be paid by wholesale water customers, as defined by their individual wholesale water agreements, effective as of the statement delivered to each of such purchasers following May 1, 2018, shall be payable in June 2018 in accordance with the following schedule of rates:

For the first year after the effective date of such change (FY 18-19):

Blended Rate *	$3.00 per 1,000 gallons
First 112,500 gallons per month	$4.26 per 1,000 gallons
Next 450,000 gallons per month	$3.72 per 1,000 gallons
Over 562,500 gallons per month	$2.75 per 1,000 gallons

 

(2)

For the second year after the effective date of such change (FY 19-20):

Blended Rate *	$3.15 per 1,000 gallons
First 112,500 gallons per month	$4.47 per 1,000 gallons
Next 450,000 gallons per month	$3.91 per 1,000 gallons
Over 562,500 gallons per month	$2.89 per 1,000 gallons

 

(3)

For the third year after the effective date of such change (FY 20-21):

Blended Rate *	$3.31 per 1,000 gallons
First 112,500 gallons per month	$4.69 per 1,000 gallons
Next 450,000 gallons per month	$4.11 per 1,000 gallons
Over 562,500 gallons per month	$3.03 per 1,000 gallons

For the fourth year after the effective date of such change (FY 21-22):

First 112,500 gallons per month	$4.92 per 1,000 gallons
Next 450,000 gallons per month	$4.32 per 1,000 gallons
Over 562,500 gallons per month	$3.18 per 1,000 gallons

 

Rates are based on the February 2018 Stantec Model.

Specifically, the rates may or may not increase or decrease proportionately.
