§ 2-398. Longevity.

All non-exempt full-time employees, after the years of service listed below, payable on the first pay day after the anniversary date, shall have the following longevity bonus added to the employee's base wage as follows:

After 4 years ..... 1%

After 8 years ..... 2%

After 12 years ..... 3%

After 16 years ..... 4%

After 20 years ..... 5%

After 25 years ..... 6%

All salaried employees exempt from overtime excluding the Police Deputy Chief and Police Lieutenant shall receive the longevity bonus in a lump sum on the first pay day after the anniversary date based on the above listed schedule. The salary exempt positions of Police Deputy Chief and Police Lieutenant shall have their longevity bonus added to their base wage in the same manner as full-time non-exempt employees,

All full-time non-exempt employees hired after May 1, 2011 shall have the following longevity bonus added to the employee's base wage as follows:

After 5 years ..... 1%

After 10 years ..... 2%

After 15 years ..... 3%

After 20 years ..... 4%

All salaried employees exempt from overtime excluding the Police Deputy Chief and Police Lieutenant shall receive the longevity bonus in a lump sum on the first pay day after the anniversary date based on the above listed schedule. The salary exempt positions of Police Deputy Chief and Police Lieutenant shall have their longevity bonus added to their base wage in the same manner as full-time non-exempt employees.
